12 Painted Lady Butterflies. All of our butterflies are farmed raised young adult butterflies that are healthy and well feed making it easy for us to guarantee our butterflies to arrive alive and ready to fly for your event.

All butterflies are shipped FedEx overnight to arrive the day before the release date. Shipping is not included in the package price. The cost is 35.00 for shipping in the state of Florida and 45.00 for all others. An additional 15.00 for Saturday deliveries for Sunday's events.

Individual origami folded release envelopes with your color choice and inscription are included with the package price. Choose your color then add your inscription. The butterflies will ship to arrive ready to release from the individual envelopes. The butterflies are safe and in their natural roosting position in the envelopes.

Decorator Box for Mass Release*

For an additional cost you can add a mass release Decorator Box to your package and your order will arrive with the butterflies safely in the appropriate size box ready for release (NO TRANSFERRING NEEDED). Use the pull down menu to choose a flower and ribbon for an additional cost of $20 or choose a ribbon only for $10. If you add a Decorator Box all your butterflies will arrive in your box ready to release. If you want your butterflies in envelopes and a mass release leave your instructions in the Comments Box during the check out.

The large release cage is an additional $70.00 to your package. It's is a beautiful custom made cage that you can use for a display of up to 100 painted ladies or up to 3 dozen monarchs butterflies. It's size is 12 inches high and 12 inches wide and offered in several colors below. The cage is shipped prior to your event (shipping is included/PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 2 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY for this item) and the butterflies will need to be transferred the day of the event.

Princess Release Cage*

The Princess Release Cage is an additional $60.00 to your package. It's is a beautiful custom made cage that you can use for a display of up to 36 painted ladies or up to 12 dozen monarchs butterflies. It's size is 12 inches high and 12 inches wide and offered in several colors below. The cage is shipped prior to your event (shipping is included/PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 2 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY for this item) and the butterflies will need to be transferred the day of the event.

Small Release Cage*

The Small Release Cage is an additional $60.00 to your package. It's is a beautiful custom made cage that you can use for a display of up to 36 painted ladies or up to 5 monarchs butterflies. It's size is 10 inches high and 6 inches wide and offered in several colors below. The cage is shipped prior to your event (shipping is included /vPLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 2 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY for this item)) and the butterflies will need to be transferred the day of the event.

Instructions

BUTTERFLY CARE INSTRUCTIONS Your butterflies will ship FedEx Priority Overnight to arrive the day before to your release date. In most cities delivers arrive before 10:30 AM Tuesday - Friday or NOON for Saturday deliveries. Your tracking number with your commitment time will be emailed when your butterflies ship. Please be present for your delivery. When your butterflies arrive it is important to change out the ice pack. To keep your butterflies safe and dormant until your release simply remove the top Styrofoam lid and take our ice pack that may be melted out and replace it with a frozen ice pack we ask you to provide. (We send a gel pack that is about 5 x 6 x 1 inch, anything similar is fine). Continue to use the shipping box as a cooler to keep a controlled temperature. The idea is to keep the butterflies naturally dormant until it is time for them to fly! DO NOT STORE YOUR BUTTERFLIES IN A REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER Store the Styrofoam insulated shipping box in a room temperature environment after replacing your ice pack. Refreeze our ice pack and change it out about every 12 hours. To Warm and Wake your butterflies the day of the release remove the product they are in from the make shift cooler, away from the ice so they have a chance to warm, wake and get ready for flight. Take them out for about a 1/2 HOUR to AN HOUR before you plan on releasing them. For a successful release the butterflies need to be released during daylight hours and outdoors in temperatures above 65 degrees. They will not fly at night, in the rain, extreme wind or cold temperatures. You can find more detailed instruction on our website and they will also arrive with your order. BUTTERFLY GUARANTEE: We cannot guarantee a successful release if you release the butterflies in inclement weather, after sunset or if your release day temperature is below 65 degrees. Due to any unforeseen circumstances, should your butterflies arrive expired, please contact us within 48 hours and return them for credit. We do ship extra butterflies to compensate for any uncommon or potential casualties. It is very rare to have expired butterflies as long as you follow the simple care instructions. This was a great way to honor my daughter for her 1st birthday after she passed away at 4 months old. All the butterflies were great and some really hung around for great pictures.

the joy these butterflies brought my family

Hi chad, I just wanted to circle back and share with you the joy these butterflies brought my family. I have always believed that butterflies are messengers of God. We see one, whisper a loving note to a lost loved one and the butterfly carries that message. The butterfly release was held on the one year anniversary of the loss of our son. Beautiful Butterflies

I ordered a dozen painted lady butterflies and a mass release box with a sunflower for a memorial. Everything was perfect and so beautiful! The release box with lavender ribbon and sunflower on top was so pretty, but the butterflies were amazing and so beautiful! The butterflies all flew out a few at a time and then hung around in the area for a while. The directions for care were simple, just changing the ice packs, and all butterflies were alive. Everything went perfectly and made a very memorable beautiful moment in honor our of loved one.

butterflies were by far perfect

We had a Celebration of Life for my sister on 5/4/19. I just want to say thank you so very much! The 12 individually wrapped butterflies were by far the perfect way to add to a beautiful outdoor luncheon. There wasn't a dry eye in the pavilion.

Thank You for your Butterflies

I would like to say Thank You for your Butterflies. All arrived in great condition and were delivered in the AM. We released them today at my grand babies funeral . The weather was less than perfect, The wind had picked up as a storm was moving in. The Butterflies bolted from the envelopes like they were late for a date with the angels, But that's ok there was one little painted lady that stuck around a little longer than the others to visit with the youngest grandchild. I know they are animals of nature and sensed the bad weather nearing. So I am hoping to see them again after the rain stops and the weather clears up. If not I hope they will flutter by to make someone else's day a little brighter. Thank you again! and look forward to doing business with you in the future.
