We followed your instructions and all butterflies survived. It was just beautiful watching all of them fly out of the box. Our 9-year-old Granddaughter, who loves Butterflies, did the release. It was a very fitting memorial for our son. Thank you for providing such a great service, it truly was impressive to all those in attendance. Everything was so efficient and easy and beautiful from the person I spoke to on the phone with questions, from the way you keep the person up to date right down to the day and time we would receive the butterflies and how to care for them. It was a positively beautiful moment to share with my family to honor my husband who passed and other who we missed and loved ? we did it on Easter with family as young as 3 all the way up to 70 and it brought a smile and a tear to everyone involved. It was a grand event. With grief on our hearts for Joann's celebration of life service, the release of the butterflies to carry our wishes to the heavens was the perfect way to end our day. We had a 100% fly away. We were predicted storms but at 1130 the sun was shining brightly. Some painted ladies stayed to visit for a short time and some went to the first flower they found. I had such nervousness about this being my first time but it could not have been more perfect. Thank you ! It was like our grief was lifted on the wings and softened a bit. It was a grand event.

Hey Chad - My mother and I ordered butterflies for a small memorial for the one year anniversary of my sister's passing. I was going crazy figuring out what we could do in order to honor her memory. My parents, siblings, and I have always said that a butterfly is our sign of my sister. I saw your company and knew it was perfect. The day before the memorial we were worried as FedEx came to both of our houses, but no butterflies. I waited until about 3pm and gave your company a call. Without question, the young lady called FedEx and was immediately on top of it. Apparently the butterflies were shipped through TN in order to make it to VA. With the crazy snow storms and other weather in TN, all FedEx packages were backed up. We completely understood this and would have been bummed if we didn't get to do the release. That was not an option for your team. I really wish I remembered her name because she went above and beyond. She had FedEx walk into the distribution center, find both boxes, put them on a plane, and have them overnighted to VA. The next morning (7am), the FedEx distribution center where we live, called and told us we could pick them up. This all happened in a span of 16 hours. Your employee (and FedEx) worked absolute wonders. Again, she went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined in order to make sure we had our butterflies. I have never experienced such exceptional customer service. The release was so heartwarming as each and every butterfly flew away. I have attached the link my best friend put together of the release. Hope you enjoy it! I apologize for being so long winded, I just can't express how thankful I am for you and your employees. You all helped us to take the worst day of our lives and give it a new meaning with a new memory. For that, we are forever grateful. I was nervous that I might screw up With switching out the ice packs or people may have dead ones when releasing, however there was not 1 casualty! We even had several kids around 5-16 and it was easy for them and they did not smash them. This was a very special touch and we rcvd a number of compliments as many of our guests had never seen this before. The butterflies were an after thought, mainly because I thought we didn't have enough time to order and that it would be affordable. You were not only the most affordable, but could accommodate my need request. I ordered 2 dozen Painted Ladies and the handling instructions were very easy all the butterflies survived!
