Honoring the memory of a loved one with a live butterfly release is both meaningful and simple. Butterfly Release CompanyŽ has provided live, healthy butterflies for memorial events for more than 20 years. As a family-run butterfly farm, we raise our butterflies to be disease-free and only ship them to regions where they are native, ensuring that their release benefits the local environment.
Package Details
Our memorial butterfly release packages are designed to help you celebrate the life of someone special. Each package includes personalized individual release envelopes for each butterfly, allowing guests to participate in the release. If you prefer a group release, you can add a mass release Decorator Box to your order, enabling all butterflies to be released at once. To place an order, simply select the package that matches your desired quantity of butterflies and enter your event date and day. Most orders are scheduled to arrive the day before your chosen release date. For last-minute orders within 72 hours of your event, please call to confirm availability.
Butterfly Arrival and Release Timing
Memorial Butterfly Releases must be done during the day with temperatures over 70 degrees. Most butterfly shipments are sent to arrive the day before your event. Butterflies are shipped FedEx Priority Overnight, except for Monday and Tuesday orders, as we cannot ship on Saturday or Sunday. For Tuesday releases, butterflies are shipped on Monday for Tuesday delivery. Please note that shipping schedules may be affected by holidays.
Shipping and Pricing
Shipping is addition to the package price. FedEx Priority Overnight is $40.00 for shipping in the state of Florida, $50.00 for Eastern states and $55.00 for Western states (AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, ND, NM, NV, SD, OR, UT, WA, WY) Saturday delivery for a Sunday release is an additional $15.00 for all states. Shipping cost will be added at check out. Most packages arrive before NOON the day before your Release Date. Some areas may have a later delivery time, your commitment time and tracking number will be emailed when shipped. Tuesday release days will be shipped Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Sunday deliveries for Monday releases are not available.
